Pulmonary Diagnostic Laboratory Services at Drexel Pulmonary Medicine
Drexel Pulmonary Medicine has two state-of-the-art pulmonary function laboratories that assist our pulmonologists in the accurate diagnosis and monitoring of respiratory diseases. The pulmonary labs offer a variety of diagnostic studies, helping our physicians better assess their patients who might have respiratory symptoms and/or limitations, or who require a definitive diagnosis. Pulmonary test results are interpreted and returned to physicians and patients within 24 hours.
Services offered by the pulmonary function labs include:
- Spirometry, pre- and post-bronchodilator
- Complete pulmonary function testing including lung volumes and diffusing capacity
- Hydrogen breath testing (detects lactose intolerance)
