Peggy Vogt, MSW, LCSW, is a clinical social worker at the Center City Clinic for Behavioral Medicine. She provides evaluations, individual therapy, group therapy, and family consultations for a diverse caseload of adult patients. She has experience in working with anxiety, depression, chronic mental illness, trauma, medical problems, substance abuse and cross-cultural issues. From 2000 to 2003, Ms. Vogt was part of the Pennsylvania Refugee Mental Health Network, a statewide initiative to promote understanding and services for the mental health needs of refugees and survivors of torture. Her clinical interests include the application of mindfulness practices in psychotherapy.
Ms. Vogt also serves as a primary supervisor for two to three MSW students and masters-level students from other mental health disciplines, and provides supervision for psychiatry residents for psychotherapy and for administrative matters. She is an adjunct faculty member in Drexel University’s Creative Arts Therapy program.
