Amanda M. Woodworth, MD
Drexel's Breast Health & Wellness Center
Dr. Woodworth is fellowship trained in surgical breast oncology and a board-certified surgeon. She completed a fellowship in breast surgery at the University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine and completed her surgical residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia where she served as chief surgical resident. She earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York.
An advocate for new and promising surgical treatments for breast cancer, Dr. Woodworth specializes in innovative breast surgery procedures and is a leader in the holistic approach to breast cancer management.
Dr. Woodworth's interest in breast cancer stems from the excitement and advancements in the treatment of breast cancer. The intense connection with patients that comes with a breast cancer diagnosis constantly leaves her humbled by her patients' and their families' strength and perseverance.
While being diagnosed with breast cancer can feel like the worst point in someone's life, Dr. Woodworth and team work hard to make the journey to health and well-being as smooth as possible.
