COVID Policy for Patients and Visitors
Masking is now optional for all patients and visitors. Important exceptions are below. We encourage those who are immunocompromised to wear a mask. We require those with respiratory symptoms to also wear a mask. Please ask your health care provider if you have questions. Situations that REQUIRE masking for both employees and patients:
- If you have had close contact with someone with Covid within the last 10 days.
- If you have been diagnosed with Covid, flu or RSV within the last 10 days.
- If you have been diagnosed with mpox within the last 4 weeks and your lesions are not fully healed.
- If you have respiratory symptoms (i.e., runny nose, cough, fever, sore throat).
If cases increase again to high levels in the community, universal masking will be required.
