Meet Inae Lee, PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist at the Partnership Comprehensive Care Practice

Inae Lee, PharmD

March 10, 2025

As a clinical pharmacist, Inae plays a crucial and multifaceted role in patient care at The Partnership Comprehensive Care Practice. Her work in an outpatient clinic setting allows her to closely collaborate with providers and clinical staff, ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcomes from their medication therapy. By evaluating and monitoring patients' medication regimens, educating them on new medications, and assessing their adherence, she helps patients to meet their care goals effectively.

In addition, Inae works collaboratively with specialty pharmacies to facilitate access to specialty medications, pill box and blister pack services, and to coordinate vaccine needs. She maintains close communication with pharmacies to clarify prescriptions and manage prior authorizations, ensuring patients’ timely access to medications, and minimizing treatment delays.

Inae's expertise in drug information and her ability to assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of prescribed medications make her an invaluable resource for both patients and providers. Her contributions are integral to the overall success of the clinic's patient care efforts.

What drew you to health care, and how did you get started?

I’ve always been passionate about helping others and making a meaningful impact. Pharmacy allows me to merge science with patient care. What drew me to this field was the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and provide continuous support throughout their health care journey. It’s an exciting era to be in this field, as we now have highly effective antiretroviral therapies (ART) that enable people living with HIV to lead long, healthy lives.

What is your favorite hobby, activity, or creative outlet?

I enjoy hiking, traveling, practicing yoga, watching Netflix, and experimenting with new recipes. I also cherish spending time with my almost two-year-old toddler — he brings me so much joy and wonder.

What is your favorite memory of working here?

One of my favorite memories is seeing a patient achieve an undetectable viral load after years of struggling. I also love being part of the excitement when patients transition from daily oral pills to long acting injectables. It’s incredible to witness people going from taking pills every day to receiving just six injections per year. Moments like these remind me of why I chose this field— helping improve people’s quality of life and being part of a dedicated team that truly cares about our patients.

What’s something surprising that not many people know about you?

Shhh, secrets are meant to be secrets.
